Lecture Bank

Goal

The goal of the lecture bank is to put expertise and experience of STC members in the field of technical communication at the disposal of schools and universities in the shape of lectures. STC Belgium is committed to provide speaker’s assignments for schools, universities and some non-profit organizations.

The STC Belgian Chapter commits to organize the contact between its members who are willing to lecture about technical communication and schools who are seeking lecturers. STC members who volunteer can submit an abstract of their lecture around a 50 minute time frame, using a standard form. The abstracts are published on the STC Belgium website. Schools and universities can contact the lecturers directly. There are two kinds of lectures: workshops and presentations. The languages can be English, Dutch or French.

The STC Belgium Chapter is not responsible for the content of a lecture. Neither can the STC Belgium Chapter guarantee that a lecturer will be available. The STC involvement is free. Any fees or reimbursement for the lecturer must be settled between the lecturer and the school.
